Additional clarification regarding house league coaching requirements:
Grassroots community stream coaches (aka. House League) require the following:
1. Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen
2. Canada Soccer Grassroots Coach Education – Coaching Soccer in Canada Module
3. Respect in Sport Activity Leader Program
Grassroots community stream coaches (aka. House League) aren't required to take the respective LTPD course that is appropriate for the age they are coaching (ex. “Active Start”, “Fundamentals”, “Learn to Train” or “Soccer for Life”).
However they still need to sign-up and pay for the appropriate course in order to take the "Coaching Soccer in Canada Module", which is now required for Grassroots community stream coaches. (HL). These courses have been discounted to $15.
