EMSA APPROVED ROSTER PROCESS

PROCESS FOR OUTDOOR 2019 (please allow 2 weeks for EMSA approval)

please note change in Manager certifications & Technical Director update below (important for Fast Track Forms)-see below

AIMS will be used for initial registration for Outdoor 2019


ADULT TEAMS

Clubs will be required to follow these steps to have their Rosters approved by EMSA

1- enter Program, Team, Player/Coaches onto AIMS or SportEngine

2- request any player/coaches cards that are required

3- complete the Team Official Registration form (Can be found under "Registration", "Outdoor", "Team Official Registration"). ** only required for Senior Competitive  (Senior Recreational does not require form but still needs roster approved)

4- bring in or email (emsada@rogers.com)  Team Roster  for EMSA to review and approve with EMSA stamp/signature

The EMSA approved Roster should be available at all games.


 

YOUTH TEAMS U13-U18

Clubs will be required to follow these steps to have their Rosters approved by EMSA

1- enter Program, Team, Player/Coaches onto AIMS

2- request any player/coaches cards that are required

3- complete the Team Official Registration form (Can be found under "Registration", "Outdoor", "Team Official Registration")

3- printed AIMS team roster 

5- bring in or email (emsada@rogers.com)  Team Roster and Team Official Registration Form for EMSA to review and approve with EMSA stamp/signature

The EMSA approved roster should be available at all games.


 

Grassroots Team Rosters U4-U12  *** all grassroots ar POOLED, DO NOT place them on Teams****
club who do place grassroots players on teams may be fined by EMSA.

Clubs will be required to follow these steps to have their Rosters approved by EMSA

1- enter Program, Team, Player/Coaches onto AIMS

2- request any player/coaches cards that are required

3- complete the Team Official Registration form. TOFormfillable.pdf

4-for Grassroots teams using Fast Track Evaluation forms  (U7-U12 only), EMSA must have originals brought into the office for approval prior to Roster Approvals.  For further information on Fast Track Evaluations, please review under "Registration" "Forms" "Fast Track Evaluations". Also note info about Technical Directors below

5- bring in or email (emsada@rogers.com)  Team Roster/Data Export and Team Official Registration Form (if applicable Fast Track Evaluation forms, originals will need to be brought into the office) for EMSA to review and approve with EMSA stamp/signature

The EMSA approved roster should be available at all games.

Players at this age level may be pooled, in which case they will not show on the "Roster" from AIMS. Please do a "Data Export" see instructions on the below document, and bring this in with Coach Team Roster

**Outdoor 2019 - TECHNICAL DIRECTOR AND TEAM MANAGER CERTIFICATIONS**

Managers
Managers sitting on the bench will require Making Ethical Decisions and Respect in Sport (coaches are to follow OS Certification requirements)

Technical Directors (authorized to sign Fast Track Forms)

Technical Directors for clubs who wish to have players fast tracked will be required to be fully qualified or proof that they have signed up for the National B License Part 1 Certified (or equivalent) or the TD Diploma.  For Outdoor 2020 the TD will need to be fully qualified.

Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce the launch of the first Technical Director Diploma course presented in Canada. The course focuses on defining the Technical Director’s role and providing them with the necessary tools required to meet the demands of the position. The course addresses topics such as Player Development through the Talented Pathway, Management and Leadership styles, and Mentorship and many more. The course is delivered over five days straight and a 100% attendance is required. Candidates will be required to complete pre and post course assignments to complete the course.

Course Application Requirements:
Eligible candidates must obtain a minimum National B License Part 1 Certified (or equivalent), Make Ethical Decisions, Respect in Soccer, and Making Headway in Soccer.
