A Regional (WRSL/WOISL) Process
U13 WOISL Division:
Teams are chosen by EMSA
Two possible scenarios:
- Scenario 1: If Four Spots are approved by WOISL:
Two spots are allotted to OPDL Clubs (London TFC and Whitecaps London).
Two spots are allotted to other Club teams in the EMSA District.
Only ONE team per club can apply per division (girls/boys).
EMDSL Divisions for T1 U12 boys/girls will be reviewed yearly to ensure two spots will not impact the District league competition.
Qualification that are essential when selecting teams:
- Club needs to be in ‘Good Standing’ with EMSA at the time of the application submission.
- Number of players registered with OS-EMSA stamped roster to be submitted with the application and by January 31st, indicating at least 11 players are registered with the team and those same 11 players will be playing both in the tournament and in the league.
- Must have a club license, or in the process of obtaining one (i.e., in the application process).
- Club needs a C-License Head Coach (name provided).
- Girls’ teams require a female team official on the roster.
Tournament Considerations:
For more than two qualified clubs (OPDL clubs excluded) applying; then a tournament will be played;
- EMSA representative to review player cards compared with rosters prior to the game. Therefore; all players need cards.
- Tournament will be over one day if there are 3 teams and two days if there are more than 3 teams competing per division
- Tournament to be held in the fall/winter in order to ensure teams are selected by the January 31st WRSL deadline for team registration.
- Same minimum of 11 players registered for the team to play the tournament and to register for the outdoor season by January 31st (WRSL deadline for team registration). Teams will be asked to submit an OS EMSA stamped roster at the time of the application and a summer OS EMSA stamped roster prior to January 31st.
