The EMSA Referee Council is proud to present "So You Want To Be A Referee?" - an open forum and panel discussion that will highlight how Match Officials make the game what it is - beautiful, fair and enjoyable.
We've lined up 4 amazing panelists from all walks of life and varying experiences:
John Oliva - a former National Referee who has participated in matches involving Major League Soccer teams
Joey Filipic - a Provincial Referee who has worked matches in League 1 Ontario, OSL and OWSL
Haley Fleming - a first year student at Dalhousie University and a 4th year District Referee, who participated in the 1st Shine the Light Tournament
John Pacheco - 2019 Ontario Soccer Spirit of the Game Award winner and a District Referee of over 25 years experience in EMSA.
