TO: ALL YOUTH CLUBS IN EMSA
In December of 2021 Ontario Soccer issued a Bulletin Number I2021-099 which indicates that all member clubs must hold a minimum Club License of “Quality Soccer Provider” by outdoor season 2023 in order to participate in Ontario Soccer sanctioned activities. This requirement is for Youth Clubs only at this point in time.
What this means for all of our youth clubs in EMSA is that part of the club renewal process for membership in EMSA for outdoor 2023 will require proof of having obtained the Quality Soccer Provider license. We have been informed that the portal for application for this license is open on the Ontario Soccer website effective January 14. 2022.
We have also been informed that a limited number of Quality Soccer Providers will be considered in the 2022 application window.
Youth clubs in EMSA are encouraged to visit the application portal on the Ontario Soccer website as soon as possible and begin the application process.
