PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR TRAVEL PERMITS WITH AT LEAST 2 WEEKS NOTICE.

 
Club Registrars or Travel Managers:  Please be sure that teams are eligible to apply to the tournament that they send to you for travel approvals. You are responsible to check that all information is correct before forwarding club approval to EMSA.

Teams must apply to the appropriate age division of a tournament.

Grassroots Teams (U8-U12) must apply to the appropriate aged Festivals please become familiar with the Development and Recreation Matrices.

*NEW* Player rosters must be submitted with any travel permit for LTPD players. These can be attached in the application on the CTMS. Please note that Grassroots 'teams' are only to use players registered to its club. Trial permits and Temporary Registrations cannot be used in Grassroots Festivals. (Section 8.0 - Procedure 16.0 - 16.5)

*NEW* - to provide consistency with travel times the EMSA Travel Manager will  generate the time/distance map for each festival. Travel distance/time must meet the standards set out in the Matrices for the age of the players travelling.

Each player must not exceed the 20 festivals allowed within any one season and it is the club's responsibility to ensure each player does not participate in more than 20 festivals.


E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS TO EMSA ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED

It is the responsibility of the club registrar or travel manager to ensure that the application has been filled out correctly for the team applying with correct ID numbers and information. The club will then approve the ATF.  EMSA will then be able to approve the permit providing that any other documents required have been attached to the CTMS application.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR TEAMS TRAVELLING OUTSIDE OF ONTARIO (TO ANOTHER PROVINCE, THE US OR ANOTHER COUNTRY) TO HAVE ADDITIONAL TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE

Tournaments in Ontario - apply for travel permits at http://ctms.ontariosoccer.net/

Tournaments in other Provinces- apply for travel permits at the link above and submit the Provincial Permit to Host Inter provincial Teams. Please also see the recommendation to carry addtional travel/medical insurance when traveling outside of Ontario. Please also fill out the Tournament Roster and sign the document on behalf of your club.  EMSA will sign and stamp the documents verifying player registration.

Tournaments in the US - apply for permits at the above link. Be sure to select in the jurisdiction drop down menu To the USA. Attach the USSF approval to Host Foreign Teams to the application in CTMS. It will be in the form of an e-mail sent to the club hosting the tournament or as a certificate posted on the tournament website. (State Approvals are not Accepted).  It is the club/team responsibility to submit the USSF sanctioning document. If the document is not posted it is likely that the tournament has not applied to host foreign teams and is not a sanctioned tournament.  Please see the sample e-mail here or the Permission to Host Form. Please also fill out the Official Tournament Roster and sign the document on behalf of your club.  EMSA will sign and stamp the documents verifying player registration. These documents can be attached to the application in CTMS.

International Tournaments (Outside Canada and the US) - Apply for your permit at the above link.  Be sure to select in the jurisdiction drop down menu Outside Canada & the United States.  All information about the tournament must be included in the permit. The OSA requires your invitation letter, a copy of the tournament rules and/or itinerary of your trip including friendly games, copies of proof of travel/ medical insurance for each participant, proof of player/coach registrations and payment of $125 for the international travel permit.  Please be advised that you must apply and get APPROVAL 45 days before travelling to the other country. It is advised that you apply for your permit at least 90 days before travelling.

ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE EMSA OFFICE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL.

EMSA Official Team Roster for Tournaments - this form is mandatory for attending US or out of  province tournaments and optional for tournaments within Ontario.  Please type in the team, player and coach information. Sign on behalf of the club that travel/medical insurance has been verified for each participant and print the document for stamping at the EMSA office.

Exhibition Games (teams within the EMSA District)- applications are to be done in the CTMS at least 7 days prior to the game. All participants must be registered for the exhibition game to be approved.

EXHIBITION GAMES

Exhibition Games - Hosting an Exhibition Game - Applications for Hosting and Exhibition Game are called AHEG.  The club/team must apply in CTMS.

Clubs are to request the approved AHEG from the host of the exhibition game and attach it to the ATF request.  ATF's cannot be approved without the approval of the AHEG.

PLEASE PROVIDE GAME DETAILS IN THE ADDITIONAL NOTES BOX. i.e. game times and any other details you feel are important to have the referee scheduled for your game.
